Hi, my name is Joban.

I’m currently fundraising to install a water filtration system at Escuela Primaria San Pedro Mixtepac Jux, a small local school in Oaxaca, Mexico. I visited this school two years ago and was deeply moved by the conditions there was no access to clean drinking water and no hygiene products or basic support provided by the government. The local community often has to come together and purchase these essential supplies for the students out of their own limited means.

Since that visit, I’ve done what I could to help the school in small ways each year but this time, I want to make a lasting difference. This project is bigger than me, and I can’t do it alone. With your help, we can provide the children and teachers with access to safe, clean water every single day something many of us take for granted but is still a luxury in parts of the world.

Clean water transforms lives. It helps prevent illness, improves focus in the classroom, and encourages children to attend school. For many of these students, simply having clean water available could be the difference between staying home and showing up to learn.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing, installing, and maintaining the water filtration system to ensure it serves the school for years to come.
