Pure Elegance Carnival is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to celebrating and preserving the Caribbean Carnival culture through creative arts, design, and dance. Since 2001, we’ve made incredible strides, working with children, adults, and young people to bring vibrant Caribbean traditions to life.
Our mission is simple: to empower the next generation by providing a platform for creative expression, confidence, and cultural pride. From designing and crafting extravagant costumes to learning dance moves that bring our celebrations to life, Pure Elegance is a space where young creatives thrive with the opportunity to showcase their work across various UK Carnival events.
Due to Financial constraints on all the carnivals we usually attend in the UK, they can no longer support us with Transport contributions. Transport costs are estimated at around £3000 each year for transport coaches to Manchester, Nottingham, Leicester & Leeds from Huddersfield.
We are hoping to raise £1000 from our GoFund to help contribute towards the overall transport expense.
Every donation, no matter the size, will significantly support our cause and ensure that Caribbean Carnival culture continues to thrive for generations to come.
With your help, we can continue to inspire, teach, and celebrate the vibrant creativity of our community around the UK!
If the group does not raise enough funds through our various ways of fundraising, all funds raised will go towards activities & development of Pure Elegance Carnival such as Workshops, hiring working spaces, & Costume materials.
Thanks to you all who have donated, shared and helped us on this journey!
