Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group Huddersfield
Donation protected

Hi my name is Debbie Kirrane and I run a support group for people, carers, families who have Pulmonary Fibrosis. I started the group when I got diagnosed with PF in 2021 along with a friend Geraldine McCallum who sadly died last year. It is a debilitating condition which affects your breathing, mobility and everyday tasks. Travelling with PF is very challenging with oxygen, medical equipment, mobility scooters etc. I have recently been lucky enough to buy a mobility scooter that folds into a suitcase size and can be taken on an aeroplane. Our group would like to purchase one for the group to lend out to our members to enable holidays and if anyone has a flare up of their condition and finding it difficult to get out. It will give our group greater independence and make a horrible illness a little easier. We would be obliged if you could make a donation as this would be life changing. Thank you for reading xx
