Pull a van for Dan

On the 30th November 2021, we lost our hero, Dan fought his battle with cancer with dignity and strength but in the end his body just gave out. He was a man who loved the crack and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He had a great sense of community spirit and it is with this in mind and in the memory of Dan that we are going to pull his van from Fiddown to Owning (approx. 7km) on Sunday 30th January 2022.

Dan's van will be pulled by teams of 8 @ €10 per puller payable on the day. If you are interested in pulling as a team or individual please contact Keith A Foley via Facebook or through this gofundme page  before Friday 28th January. Pull starting from Merry's Garage, Fiddown at 9.30am sharp and ending at Marion Hall, Owning. Anyone wishing to walk behind his van are also welcome. Bucket collection on route.

Due to Covid restrictions participants will need to organise their own transport from Owning back to Fiddown.

All funds raised will go to Solas Cancer Support Centre, Waterford.

Permit granted and please adhere to Covid Public Health Guidelines.
