My name is Elizabeth Rooney. I have 2 children, Delilah and Tommy. My children were removed by the local authority without any justification. They are now in foster placement, experiencing physical abuse by the foster carer. I have reported this on numerous occasions, but I believe I am being discriminated against because I am an Irish traveller. I have evidence of the abuse by the foster carer and no one in the authorities will complete a welfare check on my children. They are now being faced with adoption. I need help to raise funds to get a solicitor because my legal aid has stopped. My children are my world, I live and breathe for them and they need to come home to their mummy.
