May God's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.
I am Umm Anas, from the Gaza Strip, a mother of four children. I try to hold on to hope despite the harshness of war and the circumstances. I dreamed of providing them with a simple and safe life, a warm home that would shelter us, and a future where they could achieve their dreams. But the war has stolen everything from us, leaving us torn between displacement, fear, and hunger.
My children are all I have, and each one of them carries a dream worthy of their childhood:
• Anas, my eldest son, was 15 years old before the war, and as this tragedy unfolded, he became 17. Anas grew up prematurely, carrying many dreams in his heart that collided with a difficult reality.
• Shadi, 13, grew up in the shadow of destruction, but still hopes to learn and become a useful person.
• Aboud, 12, has never known the meaning of stability in his life, but he always smiles as if to say that hope is never extinguished.
• Zain, my youngest, 5, is an innocent child who only wishes to live a normal childhood.
But instead of waking up to the sound of the school bell and standing in line for the morning, my children now stand in line at the Takieh to receive a meal to satisfy their hunger, or in a long line to fill a gallon of water that we carry to the tent.
Instead of school books, they carry food containers.
Instead of notebooks, they carry the burden of daily life.
My husband worked in the field of law and owned his own business, but the war left us with nothing. My husband lost his livelihood, and we lost our home and everything we had built with years of hard work.
We are now homeless, without income, and without security.
I launched this campaign for my children and my family, so that we can provide:
• Food and medicine to protect them from hunger and disease.
• Clothing and basic necessities to ease the harshness of life.
• An opportunity for education so they don't lose their future.
• Hope for a simple home that preserves our dignity after we lost our home.
Every contribution from you, no matter how small, is a new life for us:
Warmth for Anas, hope for Shadi, a dream for Aboud, a laugh for Zain, and support for my husband, who lost his job and everything he owned.
May God reward you with all goodness
