Psychedelia needs your help!

Hey friends,

We are Entheoscope, a biannual community magazine formed by like-minded individuals working together to tell the story of psychedelia. At present, we find ourselves amid a resurgence, a reinvigoration -- a renaissance -- of psychedelic culture. Our goal is to document it. But to do so, we need your help.

We started in late 2020 during the height of COVID-19. With meetings moved online, members of various collegiate psychedelic science clubs across the country took advantage of the opportunity to collaborate and bond over a shared curiosity and appreciation for psychedelics.

We formed Entheoscope as a way to satiate our curiosity for the substances we hold dear and as a means of creating a community-based platform to document the psychedelic renaissance.

Our first issue debuted in the summer of 2021, featuring an interview with chemist and psychonaut William Leonard Pickard, poems and essays by our contributors, and a plethora of art pieces drawn from the community.

Our second issue continued in this thread with essays demystifying the science of psychedelics and shedding light on the dark history of the US government's use of LSD for questionable ends.

On September 20th, we plan on releasing our third issue. Our third edition is a manifestation of over a year and a half of growth, discovery, and exploration of our identity as a platform and community. We are very excited to share with you what we’ve put together.

However, as Entheoscope has grown to encompass a staff of dozens of creators and contributors across multiple continents, so has our need for financial support. Your help will allow us to provide compensation to our artists, poets, and writers, expand our audience, and pursue more significant projects. We are kindly asking for your assistance in our goal of documenting the dynamic and always-changing landscape of psychedelia.

Anything and everything that you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and mush love,
The Entheoscope team
