Palm Springs Search & Rescue Needs New Jeep!!

The Palm Springs Mounted Police Search and Rescue celebrates 70 years of dedicated volunteer service to the community of Palm Springs and surrounding areas.  Having performed thousands of search and rescue operations since their inception in 1949, this dedicated group of men and women work tirelessly to keep the visitors and citizens of Palm Springs safe and now they need your help.
The Palm Springs Mounted Police Search and Rescue is needing to replace their failing Jeep that is over 20 years old and is in disrepair. This two door jeep functions as an invaluable piece of equipment that the group relies on to get the injured and lost to safety.
The Palm Springs Mounted Police Search and Rescue is looking to purchase a new  4 door jeep to replace their current jeep.  The estimated budget for this project is $70,000 given the modifications needed for the terrain and applications to which the group uses this jeep.  This jeep will allow PSMP-SAR to carry more personnel to the scene and do so without the fear of an ailing jeep breaking down on the way to lost and injured hikers. Please help us in spreading the news and donating to the PSMP-SAR as they continue to serve our great community.
