Hi, my name is Diego, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for myself, my mom Mariana, and my little brother Ian. We never imagined we would be in a position like this, but right now our family is facing one of the hardest moments of our lives.

Our situation began when my mom suffered a **severe allergic reaction**. It happened suddenly and was life-threatening. She had to be taken by ambulance and hospitalized. Thankfully, she survived, but the medical bills left behind have been overwhelming, and we are still trying to find a way to pay them.

Just a few weeks after that, everything fell apart even more. We were involved in a **serious car accident**, and our car was declared a total loss. Losing the car meant my mom could no longer keep her job. She did everything she could to find another one, but without transportation, her options were limited. The job she has now barely covers our basic needs.

With no savings, growing debt, and a future that felt impossible where we were, my mom made the heartbreaking decision to **start over in Canada**, where we have family who can help us survive and rebuild. We plan to move to **Montreal**, but we cannot afford plane tickets, so we will have to travel by **bus**, a long and exhausting journey.

To make this move possible, we are being forced to **sell almost everything we own**. We also have to leave our apartment as soon as possible so it can be repaired and rented again. Even then, we are required to pay fees equal to **two months’ rent**, which we simply cannot afford.

Right now, we are asking for help to get through this difficult transition. The funds raised will go toward medical expenses, transportation to Canada, moving and living costs, apartment fees, and basic necessities for our family.
