Hi to our families, friends, and anybody else who is taking the time to read this. My daughter and her family has been going through a rough couple of months. They are a family of 7, a stay-at-home mom and a working dad with 5 children, two who attend elementary school and two who attend preschool right now. A couple of months ago, their lives were rocked when they were told their house unexpectedly was being sold and they needed to move. Dad is the only source of income, so having to move as a complete surprise hurt them financially. Now, with only two weeks left until Christmas, they are hit with another financial burden. Just this past Friday, their car stopped working out of nowhere. They had it towed to a shop where they then found out their transmission went out. This is costing over $7000 to fix/replace. This is this family's only vehicle besides Dad's work truck that only seats two. Mom has no way to get any of her children to school, pick them up, get to the grocery store, have a vehicle in case of an emergency, etc.
