For almost 6 decades, 1st Holmer Green Scouts has been at the heart of our village - a place where children learn new skills, discover confidence, make lifelong friends, and experience adventures they'll never forget. Since opening our doors in 1966, thousands of young people have passed through our Beaver, Cub and Scout sections, supported by an incredible team of dedicated volunteers. One of our Volunteers will even celebrate 50 years of service next year - a milestone that reflects the true spirit of our community.

Our Scout Hut has been the home for all of this magic for 59 years. It's where badges have been earned, campfires prepared, knots mastered, and imaginations sparked. But like any well-loved space, time has taken its toll. Despite our volunteers tireless effort to maintain the building, we are now faced with essential refurbishments that are beyond what we can manage ourselves.
