When I was living in Pakistan, I personally ran a winter relief effort. Using only my own money, I purchased and distributed hundreds of high-quality blankets and heavy jackets to individuals sleeping rough during the freezing winter months. I believe every person deserves warmth and dignity, and I have seen firsthand how these simple items can save lives.
