Help for Vic

Hi, my name is Cara. That's me, many years ago with my little brother, Vic

We've been estranged for a long time, but I love him, and he's in a lot of trouble.

Vic is homeless. He's been staying in 24 hour fast food joints and in the hospital, for over a month. He is suffering from end stage kidney failure and is on dialysis. No shelter will take him because of the dialysis. He is nearly totally blind. He is in a wheelchair. He left Denver and is now in Kansas City.

His lovely daughter, Francesca, is working so hard to help keep him off the streets, getting to appointments and dialysis, and get him set up with services and housing. The burden is so heavy for her, and I am so far away it is difficult to really help.

He may have a breakthrough on housing in the coming month but at present he needs to be put in a room somewhere and that is expensive. My other brother and I have helped but we are also dealing with life stuff.

If anyone can help me raise funds for temporary housing, that would be so appreciated.
