Providing Aid to Ukrainian Refugees in Poland

Hello, my name is Ryan Dolmat. As I'm sure many of you have also felt over the last few weeks, I have felt helpless and saddened by the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia and have wished I could do more. My skills are not with a gun; however, my friend and I have decided to go to the refugee centers within Poland to volunteer and help the Ukrainians driven from their homes wherever we can.

We are flying to Poland on March 26th and will be headed to the border town Przemysl, which has become the first checkpoint for most Ukrainians crossing into Poland. The area is in need of more drivers to transport families to their next destination in Poland, and my friend and I are renting two vehicles to help with this.

While on the ground, we will assess the situation to see what else is needed and what other support we can provide. After speaking with a few people already there, we know that the centers are in need of basic medical supplies, toiletries, non-perishable foods, lots of socks, blankets, sleeping mats, and children's toys.

Our goal is to be able to fill our cars with as much of these supplies as possible to bring back to the refugee centers on our return trips. Your donations will go directly to these items and gas for shuttling them.
