Providing against Poverty: a project to help the homeless
Tax deductible

Our Mission:
Thousands of people in Los Angeles alone suffer from homelessness, also known to be the city with the highest poverty rate in California. In order for these people to get back up on their feet, we need to do something about it. That is why all our funds are going to Los Angeles Mission, a non-profit organization which specializes in getting families off the streets and with the essentials they need. But to be able to do this, we need your help! Below are some simple and extremely helpful ways you can contribute towards our cause.
Ways you can help!
Buy from our sweets and candy sale! Happening Wednesday, February 12, 3:00-4:30, outside of El Segundo Middle School (332 Center St, El Segundo, CA 90245).
Donate and fund this GoFundMe, “Providing against Poverty: A middle school project to help the homeless.”
Give away any essentials (toiletries, shirts, pants, hats) to our donation box! Located in the El Segundo Middle School office during the day and next to our stand after school.
(All clothing donations will be given to an LA Mission center in Downtown Los Angeles.)
Our Goals:
Candy Sale: Earn $175 in sales (non-profit)
GoFundMe: Raise $700 in funds
Donations: 100+ essentials (40 shirts, 40 pants, 20 toiletries)
Total Earnings: Go Fund Me earnings sent as money to LA Mission, candy sales used to buy essentials for the homeless (to be donated in Downtown LA).
