Provide underfunded communities with mindful craft workshops

My name is Molly Leonard, I'm 26 and the founder of Craft With Me C.I.C

I’m raising funds to kickstart my first major project with the local community mental health team, bringing the healing power of mindful crafting to individuals struggling with mental health challenges and loneliness.

Crafting has been my lifeline, guiding me through a long and difficult journey with mental health. Just two years ago, I faced a turning point that made me reassess my path.

Since then, I’ve been committed to using my story to uplift others and provide mindful craft workshops in the community.

Now, I want to share the transformative benefits of creativity with those who need it most but may lack access to such resources.

This project holds special significance as I collaborate with the local mental health team to deliver free, inclusive workshops for patients designed to build connections, resilience, and healing.

To make this happen, I’m applying for a £15,000 Arts Council Wales grant—but I need to raise £1,500 to meet the 10% funding match required by the 22nd Jan 2025.

Your support will directly enable these workshops, ensuring we can:

In recognition of my dedication to mental health and crafting, I was honoured with the Pride of Britain King’s Trust Young Achiever Award 2024. This milestone has deepened my determination to make these workshops a reality.
