Provide sporting activities for asylum seekers

We are currently housing a number of asylum seekers in temporary accommodation across the Bromsgrove area from many countries. Many of them are young men used to playing team sports and they have been desperate to get out join in various sporting activities.

In response to this, two amazing young men (Olly and Elliott) have liaised with local volunteer group, Bromsgrove and District Asylum Seekers Support, and have arranged weekly football sessions for them. The first session took place recently - it was a huge success - the guys looked so happy and had such fun!

We have initial costs to meet to allow us to provide them with suitable footwear and clothing - many only have plimsolls and jeans - along with footballs and bibs. Then there is the ongoing cost of the weekly facilities hire.

Any help you can offer to enable us to continue this is very much appreciated.
