provide relief as we welcome our triplets!

Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to read our story of the babies and considering donating. We were so excited to get pregnant after getting married, however, we were not prepared for all the complications to come. At 6 weeks, we found out we were blessed with triplets. We have an identical set of girls and one boy. At around 7/8 weeks, I (mom) developed what is called hypermedia gravidarum, which is known as extreme sickness during pregnancy. This is not normal nausea, it is constant and wears the body down to where organs can even be affected. I was hospitalized 3 times for this, it was not until about week 16 that I got a Zofran pump that helped with my sickness. Each time it took a week or more before I would be out of the hospital. Due to the amount of time, I was going to the doctor, the ER, and getting infusions my husband and I had to quit our in-home daycare because it was not fair to those parents not to be able to provide proper and stable care for their children. Our car’s engine then went out as well. We then found out later on that Baby B, one of the girl twins is growth restricted and had elevated blood flow in her cord. This upped our doctors appointments to at least once a week, we also had to take a trip to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to get extra testing done to make sure we didn’t need surgery to help the babies. We are now in the hospital for monitoring because Baby B is showing reversed blood flow and we need to be ready if they need to come out now. We are currently 27 weeks and trying to make it as close to 32 weeks as possible. With that being said, we are looking at being in the hospital for the 4th time now this pregnancy is for up to 5 weeks, then the babies will be in the NICU for at least 8 weeks. We were not prepared for the extensive amount of complications this would bring. We are seeking support due to having to quit our jobs and not being able to work at full capacity with all the complications we have been having. We still have a long journey ahead of us so anything will be appreciated! Thank you so much for your support and continued prayers.
