Provide Hope and Support for Refugee Families
Donation protected
On January 20, 2025, President Trump signed the “Reevaluating and Realigning United States Foreign Aid" Executive Order. On January 24, 2025, a stop-work order was also issued.
The result of these two directives is that refugee families that have recently arrived in the United States do not have funding for food, rent, utilities, and furnishings.
These families have completed the proper applications, security screenings, and background checks required to enter the United States legally. In many cases, the families have supported U. S. armed forces outside of the United States in times of war. As a result, they cannot return to their home country safely.
The families were told that they would receive 90 days of resettlement expenses upon arrival in the United States.
In short, these families have done everything right. Yet, they still find themselves in perilous limbo because of the decisions of the Trump administration.
Three of these families are in our immediate area.
Here's where we come in.
We can provide the families with the resources they need to get their feet on the ground. We can ensure they have a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs, and food on their tables.
All proceeds raised will be given to a local non-profit working directly with the families.
Timing is critical.
Together we can make a difference.
We belong to each other.
