My name is Ahmed Al-Qadi, and only a short time ago I lived a peaceful, simple life with my family in our small home a place filled with warmth, laughter, and dreams for my daughters’ future. I used to imagine them growing up safely, studying in good schools, and building the life every child deserves.
But everything changed when the war reached us.
In an instant, our home was destroyed.
The fear in my daughters’ eyes is something I will never forget. All the dreams I had for them disappeared under the weight of survival. Instead of thinking about school, we now worry about how to find our next meal.
Before the war, I used to help others at local food centers, giving what I could to people who had even less. I never imagined that one day I would be the one begging for help.
Adding to our suffering, I developed a severe spinal disc (slipped disc) condition, which now prevents me from working or even moving without pain. The injury has left me unable to support my family, and I urgently need medical treatment abroad treatment that I simply cannot afford.
We are currently living in a fragile tent that offers little protection from the heat of the summer or the freezing cold of winter. During the last winter storm, our tent collapsed on us. My daughters were injured, and since then, fear has become a daily part of their lives.
Everything we once had is gone.
We have lost the most basic elements of human life safety, stability, and dignity.
Today, I am reaching out to the kindness of strangers.
I am asking for help to:
Receive medical treatment for my spinal condition
Rebuild a safe shelter for my family
Give my daughters a chance to return to school and reclaim their childhood
Restore the life that war has taken from us
Any amount, even the smallest contribution, makes a real difference.
Your support is not just financial it is a lifeline. It is hope.
It is a chance for my family to stand again.
Thank you for reading our story and for caring.
May your kindness return to you a hundred times over.
