Provide Health Insurance for families in Tanzania

Hi everyone!

We are Freja and Katrine, two volunteers currently spending eight weeks in Tanzania. During a home visit to a local family (where the pictures are from), we discovered something incredible: for just 78 DKK (€10 / $11), we can provide a family of five with health insurance for an entire year!

This small amount can make a huge difference. Many families here cannot afford medical care, meaning even minor illnesses can become life-threatening. With health insurance, they gain access to hospitals and essential treatments they would otherwise go without.

We have already purchased insurance for one family, and they have already used it at the hospital! Their gratitude was overwhelming, and it showed us just how much of an impact this simple act can have. Now, we want to do more!

The goal is 28.000 kr. because with 28.000 kr we can help provide health insurance for all families in our organization, Tafcom.

Our goal is to help as many families as possible, but we need your support. Every donation—big or small—goes directly to buying health insurance for families in need.
