Hello I am raising funds on behalf of Dr. Bahaa Al Laban. Funds will be sent to him on a weekly basis via international wire transfer. You can follow his story and check for updates here.

Dr. Bahaa, his wife, their son Omar, and daughters Mariam, Leen, and Maha are Palestinians from Gaza. Prior to Israel's assault on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Dr. Bahaa, his wife, and their son Omar traveled to Turkey for Omar's medical treatment, believing they would return home in just a few weeks. In accident prior to October 7th, Omar suffered severe brain damage and is relearning how to walk, talk, and develop on his own. Dr. Bahaa and his wife left their three daughters in the care of their grandparents. Dr. Bahaa, his wife, and Omar have not seen Mariam, Leen, and Maha in Gaza in almost 2 years, while they are stranded in Turkey.

This fundraiser is intended to help Dr. Bahaa cover medical and living expenses for himself, his wife, and Omar in Turkey, as well as daily essentials for the girls in Gaza. Inshallah, the family will be reunited soon, but we don't know yet when that will happen.

Dr. Bahaa's wife has also recently discovered that she is pregnant. Your donations will be used to cover her medical expenses as well.
