Help us make reusable masks for volunteers working with vulnerable Londoners!
This mask will not prevent from getting infected, but by wearing it can help protecting others. We need to behave as if we are infected!
If all of us wear a mask, we will protect each other!
In less than a week, we have produced and distributed 300 masks to a group of volunteers ( Newington Green Action Group, charity number 1087866). With your donation, we can help more people, in and beyond our local community.
See below photos of the masks, which are based on the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) design and made with high-quality material, so they can be washed and used many times. Using professional tailor made masks can help also preventing shortage of professional personal protective equipment for the NHS.
Our brilliant tailor Rahime (Stitch by Stitch Tailoring – Newington Green) will go to work again as soon as we start receiving your donations. Each mask costs 80p to make: please think of how many vulnerable people your can help protect with your donation!
