Saving Haywood's Neighborhoods is an organization that opposes the rezoning of 1741 Haywood Road from the current zoning of R-3, 3 houses per acre, to PRD CZD, which will allow 180 units in the 20 acre tract. This is proposed by a Florida Developer. The issues are increased traffic, flooding along Brittain Creek, removal of a significant wildlife habitat, local school capacity and most importantly, the proposed project is not compatible with any current housing along the Haywood Road corridor and in the surrounding neighborhoods.
