Reimagine Food Systems Allegheny County

Protect PT's Turtle Creek Watershed & Airshed Communities (TCWAC) is raising funds for our Reimagine Food Systems (RiFS) program. Since 2019, we have provided Allegheny County families living in environmental justice communities with the tools they need to cultivate a beautiful veggie garden! With YOUR HELP we supply the following:

• (up to) two 3'x5' raised garden beds filled with organic soil and and compost

• vegetable seeds/seedlings

• gardening tool kit

• hands-on education

• The Garden Primer handbook

• access to free and reduced-price workshops provided by Grow Pittsburgh

Trained volunteers guide the participants in planting and maintaining their garden. We are dedicated to each participant having a successful harvest!
