Protect Pennsy Trail: Legal Fund

The Pennsy Trail is the heartbeat of the Eastside of Indianapolis. For many families in Irvington, Christian Park, Eastgate, and throughout Marion County, it is one of the only trails we have. It’s where we walk, where neighbors connect, and where children learn to ride their bikes. Irvington Community Elementary School is less than 500 feet from the trail.
A Georgia-based corporation, DC Blox ($1B valuation), has been approved to build a massive data center right here in our neighborhood (District 20), directly alongside the Pennsy Trail.
Despite public outcry, city officials/politicians (including our own District 20 Councilor, Michael-Paul Hart) have ignored our community. DC Blox has refused transparency. They are bringing a resource-heavy, polluting industry into a residential area. DC Blox is threatening our air, water, and ground safety, while straining our local utility grid and devaluing our properties.
We are fighting back to preserve our community, but we need your help. These funds will aid us in seeking legal counsel to formally challenge the DC Blox expansion, organize protests, community canvassing, and more.
Thank you for your support of our community.
