Aid Immigrants Facing ICE Raids
Donation protected
Every day, I witness the strength of our community the street vendors selling food under the hot sun, the landscapers working through extreme heat, and so many others doing everything they can to survive and support their families. But right now, that strength is being met with fear. ICE raids are increasing across our cities. These hardworking people are being racially profiled, followed, and detained simply for looking like immigrants. They are being taken kidnapped from their work sites, their homes, their communities without warning. Many of them are undocumented, yes, but they are also human. They are mothers, fathers, tias, tíos, sons, and daughters just trying to make it.
Despite the danger, they continue to show up because they have no other choice. Rent is due. Kids need to be fed. But they shouldn’t have to work in fear to survive. I’m raising money to give them something they rarely get: a break. A chance to step away from work without losing income. A moment to breathe, to rest, to feel seen and protected by their community. Every dollar raised will go directly into the hands of vendors, landscapers, and other outdoor workers affected by this crisis no questions asked, just love and support.
Please consider donating. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in helping someone feel less alone and more safe. Let’s show up for the people who are always showing up for us.
