Protect My Loved Ones from Haiti's Danger

Dear all,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during an incredibly difficult time for my family.

Right now, over 85% of Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, is under gang control. Every day, innocent people are losing their lives. Women are being raped and killed. Children are dying. It is a living nightmare.

My siblings, my sister, my niece, and my brother are trapped in this violence. They live in constant fear of being attacked. My brother has now developed high blood pressure from the overwhelming stress. The fear, the uncertainty—it’s breaking all of us. I am thousands of miles away, unable to protect them, and it is taking a serious toll on my own mental and physical health. I suffer from anxiety, depression, and I’ve lost sleep. I feel helpless.

I want—I need—to relocate my family to a safer part of the country. But it’s not simple. The roads are blocked and too dangerous to travel. The only option is to pay for helicopter transport, which is incredibly expensive. And the cities that are still safe have seen rent prices skyrocket. On top of that, my family would have to leave everything behind and start over—buying basic essentials like mattresses, cooking supplies, clothes—everything.

This is why I’m asking for your help.
