Help support LAIT911’s Annual Fundraiser and protect Los Angeles from the growing threat of wildfires and disasters.
LAIT911 Fire is a dedicated non-profit organization that works closely in an affiliated capacity with City of Los Angeles agencies to provide rapid, volunteer-led disaster response services.
Our Los Angeles Disaster Response Team (LADRT) plays a crucial role in fire suppression, prevention, and community safety, ensuring that when disaster strikes, we are ready to act.
In the past year, LAIT911's licensed and certified volunteer firefighters, EMTs and support staff have played a crucial role in wildfire prevention, responding to dozens of brush fires and medical emergencies within city limits. Together, they have contributed over 2,500 hours of service, working to prevent the ignition and spread of dangerous fires, while protecting lives, homes, and wildlife in our community.
This year's fundraiser is vital, as the majority of the funds raised will go toward acquiring a much-needed Brush Truck—a specialized vehicle designed to support wildfire response in remote, fire-prone areas. The estimated cost for this critical asset is $25,000, and it will enable us to:
- Access rugged terrains that larger fire engines cannot reach
- Respond quickly to small fires before they escalate
- Support our partnered city agencies during high-demand emergency situations
- Conduct firewatch patrols after burns to prevent reignition
