Hello, we are the tenants of 1512 Mohawk Apartments and members of LATU (Los Angeles Tenants Union). We need your help to fight againts unethical evictions by landlords motivated by greed. Echo park, historically was a flourishing muilti-cultural neighborhood, a cornerstone of Los Angeles' melting pot, has now been overrun by developers and gentrifiers forcing out families that have resided in the area for decades. They want to erase our history and they want to erase us. We are the very few remaining BIPOC families, fighting for our right to stay housed and we wish to live peacefully without harrassment as we did for many years. The money we raise will go towards paying legal fees to help fight our cause againsts these greedy landlords in court. Any amount will help!
