On October 3rd of last year, I filed a U.S. patent for something I've been working on for a long time. It's a way to track who created what when artificial intelligence is involved — a kind of audit trail that protects musicians, writers, and other creators from having their work absorbed into AI systems without credit.

Here's the favor. A provisional patent has to be converted to a full patent within twelve months or it expires.
My deadline is this October.
The conversion costs $4,900, and I'm raising it through GoFundMe because I want the technology to stay independent of the big AI companies it's meant to hold accountable. If a tech company funded the filing, they'd own the leverage. I don't want that.
