<div><strong>Help Build the Mirror Protocol Patent — Protect Creators &amp; Restore the Moral Center of AI Music</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>STORY:
</div>
<div><strong>This isn’t just a fundraiser.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>This is the final step in a 16-month mission to build the world’s moral foundation for AI-generated music. and beyond!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Bruce Edward Smith, founder of Sagacious Sounds LLC.
</div>
<div>On October 3rd of last year, I filed a U.S. patent for something I've been working on for a long time. It's a way to track who created what when artificial intelligence is involved — a kind of audit trail that protects musicians, writers, and other creators from having their work absorbed into AI systems without credit.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The patent number is 63/893,332 </strong>and you can verify it on the USPTO website if you're curious. My attorney is Maurice Williams at Filament Legal , Patent &amp; Trademark Counsel, (<a href="https://filamentlegal.com/legal-team" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Contact information</a> )
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here's the favor. A provisional patent has to be converted to a full patent within twelve months or it expires.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My deadline is this October.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The conversion costs $4,900, and I'm raising it through GoFundMe because I want the technology to stay independent of the big AI companies it's meant to hold accountable. If a tech company funded the filing, they'd own the leverage. I don't want that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any amount helps. A dollar helps. Five dollars helps. What helps even more than the money is sharing the link with one person you think might care. The campaign needs visibility as much as it needs cash, and that's something only people who know me can do.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading this. Thank you in advance if you contribute or share. And if you can't do either, no hard feelings — I know everyone is stretched.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and respect,
</div>
<div><br />
