Most of my friends and family know mine and Alice’s story. Alice is almost 9 years old. The birth father of my child is trying to come after me for custody of a child he has not seen in almost 8 years. I am desperate at this point to keep Alice safe and unfortunately it has come to this. I have tried many times to divorce and get full custody of Alice so we can be done with the birth father but he always weasels his way out of the situations. He showed up on my doorstep a few weeks ago demanding that I give him my child. The police and court had to be involved. He then had me served with divorce and child custody papers trying to get Alices taken away from me. Alice has only ever lived with me, she does not know him and has expressed no desire to know him. I have always told him that he can visit whenever but he always has an excuse until he tried to scare be by showing up unannounced. Alice is terrified of him at this point and honestly so am I.

I am begging anyone who can help me pay for legal fees. Please please help me keep Alice safe and with me where she has always been and wants to be.
