As many of you know, we recently opened a restaurant in Liverpool. While I am in the US most of the year, our front of the house is in the best hands with Abraham Youseff. Abraham is a Christian from Pakistan that has escaped religious persecution by coming to the UK. And while he is safe here, his family back home is not.

Because they are Christians, they are not offered any sort of protection from the government. They are being threatened for being Christians. We are trying to raise money for his family to keep them safe. Abraham is so kind, personable, and he truly is the face of SuSu's. If you look at our reviews, almost every single one of them mentions how wonderful their experience was due to their interaction with Abraham. We could not imagine knowing that our family was in danger just because they believe in Jesus. As much as we can complain about the state of affairs in the US, we are so blessed to be able to publicly praise Jesus without knowing that our family could be in danger.
