This January, I’m taking on a personal challenge to raise £1,000 for prostate cancer awareness and support — a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.

I will be completing 5km every single day throughout January (whilst in crutches), alongside committing to Dry January, to push myself both physically and mentally.

I’m doing this in honour of my grandfather who is currently fighting prostate cancer, as well as other family members and anyone else who has also been affected by this horrible disease. Watching loved ones go through it has shown me just how important the work of prostate cancer charities truly is — from research and early detection to care, support, and hope for families.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards helping this charity continue its life-saving work. If my challenge can raise awareness, start conversations, and give back even a little, then every step will be worth it.
