Project Zoom Zoom

Hello There! Project Zoom Zoom was founded as an independent Austin-based chapter of Go Baby Go to continue their mission of building motorized ride-on toy cars for disabled children to give them the ability to move around on their own. Babies and young children between the ages of 1-5 do not have access to wheelchairs, as in order to fit them the wheelchairs would have to be custom made and are extremely expensive. These cars are a cheap, fun way of allowing children to explore their environments, gaining spatial awareness, confidence, and social skills at a key developmental stage in their lives. These $1,000 will be used to help kickstart our program to build up to two cars for disabled Austin kids in time for the Winter Holidays. This will require the cars themselves and any parts that will go into modifying the vehicle. In order to do so, we're seeking to have the funds as soon as possible to get started building! Thank you very much for your help, we appreciate every cent that helps get us closer to our goal of allowing disabled children the ability to be kids one car at a time.
