CALLING ALL XBOX 360 GAMERS!
Let's help AJ raise funds and collect video game donations for Johns Hopkins Hospital Children’s Floor in Baltimore, Maryland!
Meet our Video Game Warrior, AJ.
AJ was so happy when he moved to the Children’s Floor at Hopkins because they had a play room, toys, scooters, AND an Xbox 360 in every room. He was so excited, even though there were not a ton of games to choose from. The nurses told him that the games take a beating going between rooms, amongst kids of all ages, and they constantly have to throw games away because they become scratched. And it’s the Xbox 360, so these games are old and harder to come by.
Back home, AJ discussed his conversations with nurses and the lack of games with his family and that's when he realized that for many of the kids who were unable to get out of bed, this may be all they had to do. That's when our video game warrior decided he wanted to help give back by collecting used Xbox 360 games for his friends on the Kids Floor when he goes back to Hopkins at the end of October.
Introducing, Project Video Game Warrior: AJ's Games 4 Johns Hopkins Kids Floor. We are making it our mission to ensure AJ's goal is a huge success. All proceeds collected within this fundraiser will directly benefit AJ's Xbox 360 collection exclusively for Johns Hopkins Child Life for the purpose of purchasing Xbox 360 video games, and additional Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming supplies.
In addition, if you or someone you know has Xbox 360 games collecting dust and you would like to donate them to AJ’s Johns Hopkins Child Life Video Game collection, please address donations to:
