Bears 4 Kids

As college students, it is amazing to see how much we can learn and what we can do, and as a group of students in the EVM program at DU, we are striving to make a positive impact on the lives of children who are vicitims of traumatic experiences. Oftentimes, when children are picked up from difficult situations by law enforcement, they experience fear, confusion, and discomfort. However, we are aiming to raise enough money to purchase new bears and donate them to law enforcement offices. That way, children, in the face of these situations, will be handed a new teddy bear that they can hold and squeeze during their toughest moments. It's heartwarming to imagine all the little children  that will feel a little bit better with a bear in hand.

Ideally, we can start raising money and buying new bears as soon as possible, and your support will mean so much in providing a small token of happiness in these children's lives. We will gladly update those who donate to our campaign and 100% of what we take from GoFundMe will be used to buy new stuffed animals and support these children.
