Our names are Haley & Julia and through our company, LinkedIn, we have joined a movement called Travel[In]4Good. This is an employee-led initiative to enable LinkedIn employees to use their personal time, and love for travel, to create sustainable change in developing communities and within children’s lives.

2023's Purpose: This year we will be traveling to Arusha Tanzania, where the people face many challenges in their communities. They live their beautiful lives with grace and gratitude despite the widespread poverty, drought, HIV, lack of infrastructure and corrupt government. Many children find themselves in orphanages or without access to education - there is so much that we can impact with small financial and time commitments.

2023's Objectives: A group will travel to Karim Orphanage, and with the funds raised, we will sponsor the construction of 2 classrooms and a second floor of bedrooms. This addition will hold 60 more students and make room for at least 7 more children! The remaining donations will be used towards the Clean Water Project. We will be sponsoring the construction of a well to bring drinkable water to the Maasai Tribe in Northern Tanzania.
