Let the challenge begin!
As you will already know, due to COVID-19, many small businesses and independent projects are currently suffering from a lack of funds. We would like to support the Rascarey project. This project seeks to actively protect our environment, to educate people about environmental issues at a local level, and to raise awareness on a larger scale (while of course still respecting nature and the environment). More specifically, it focuses on the protection of turtles (an animal that is very important for the natural balance on earth, but one that is also at risk of becoming extinct).
We are currently here on site with Rascarey and are able to see and take part in the great work it carries out, aswell as the difficulties it faces. We see the plastic waste that is carried in the ocean, and therefore the impact that we, as humans, have on our planet.
In 2 months’ time the turtle season will start. For this 7-month long season, Rascarey’s Co-Founders will work alongside its volunteers from Monday to Sunday for at least 6 hours a day. This work will take place both during the day and at night, and on average we will cover around 8km (or 10,000 steps as we call it) per day patrolling the beach (searching for mother turtles to secure their eggs as well as carrying out other tasks such as beach clean-ups). The work is hard, but our passion is greater.
Your donations would be used for the following:
- Equipment for the Sea Turtle nesting season (backpacks, rubber gloves, notebooks, pencils, headlamps, garbage bags, ponchos, paint for signs, machetes, buckets for the transfer of baby turtles, materials for the creation of the nursery, etc.)
- Improving the Campsite for volunteers (water filter, bedding, side tables, shelving, curtains, etc.)
- Maintenance of the House (metal to replace the 20 year-old roof, lightbulbs, varnish, paint, etc.)
Our goal:
Together as a group we are looking for 200 people who would be willing to donate $5 (4.65 CHF, 4.20 Euros, 30 Crowns, 3.60 Pounds). This is equivalent to: 4 French baguettes or 1 Swiss cappuccino, 1 whole English breakfast, 4L of German organic milk, or 1 Danish ice cream.

Wie ihr schon gehört habt, wegen COVID-19, viele kleine Unternehmen und unabhängige Projekte leiden an finanziellem Mangel. Wir möchte das Projekt Rascarey unterstützen. Es geht um den aktiven Schutz unserer Umwelt, um Erziehung auf lokaler Ebene, über eine Sensibilisierung zum Respekt zur Natur und Umwelt und um den spezifischen Schutz der Schildkröten, ein vom Aussterben stark bedrohtes Tier, aber sehr wichtig für unser Gleichgewicht auf der Erde.
Wir sind aktuell hier vor Ort und können die grosse Arbeit und die Schwierigkeiten spüren. Den grossen Müll sehen, der vom Ozean hochkommt und die Auswirkungen, welche wir, die Menschheit, auf unsere Erde haben. Zusätzlich startet in 2 Monate die Schildkröten Saison, wo die Co Founder dieses Projektes mit anderen Freiwilligen täglich, von Montag bis Sonntag, mindestens 6h pro Tag und Nacht, 7 Monate lang arbeiten und 8km, in «unseren technologischen Worten» 10000 Schritte, täglich auf diesem Strand laufen, um Schildkröten zu schützen. Die Arbeit ist hart, aber die Leidenschaft ist grösser.
Eure Spenden würden für Folgendes verwendet werden:
- Ausrüstung für die Nistsaison der Meeresschildkröten (Rucksäcke, Gummihandschuhe, Notizbücher, Stifte, Stirnlampen, Müllsäcke, Ponchos, Farbe für Schilder, Macheten, Pfähle für den Transfer von Baby-Schildkröten, Material für die Einrichtung der Kinderstube usw.)
- Verbesserung der Unterbringung der Freiwilligen (Wasserfilter, Bettzeug, Beistelltische, Regale, Vorhänge, usw.)
- Instandhaltung des Hauses (Metall, um das 20 Jahre alte Dach zu ersetzen, Glühbirnen, Lack, Farbe, usw.)
Unser Ziel ist:
Gemeinsam als Gruppe suchen wir 200 Personen, welche bereit wären 5 Dollar zu spenden (4.65 CHF, 4.20 Euro, 30 Kronen, 3.60 Pfund). Dies entspricht: 4 französische Baguettes oder 1 schweizer Cappuccino oder 1 ganzes englisches Frühstuck oder 4L deutscher Bio Milch oder 1 dänische Eiscreme.

Come avete sentito, a causa di COVID-19, molte piccole imprese e progetti indipendenti stanno soffrendo per la mancanza di fondi. Vorremmo sostenere il progetto Rascarey. Si tratta della protezione attiva del nostro ambiente, dell'educazione a livello locale, della sensibilizzazione al rispetto della natura e dell'ambiente, e della protezione specifica delle tartarughe, un animale in grande pericolo di estinzione, ma molto importante per il nostro equilibrio sulla terra.
Attualmente siamo qui sul posto e vediamo il grande lavoro e sentire le difficoltà quotidiane. Ricuperiamo un mare di plastica/spazzatura che l’oceano rigetta e vediamo l'impatto che noi, l'umanità, abbiamo sul nostro pianeta. Inoltre, tra 2 mesi inizierà la stagione delle tartarughe, dove il co-fondatore di questo progetto con altri volontari lavorerà tutti i giorni, dal lunedì alla domenica, almeno 6 ore al giorno e alla notte, per 7 mesi, camminando 8 km, corrispondenti a 10'000 passi con le nuove tecnologie, ogni giorno su questa spiaggia per proteggere le tartarughe e mettere al sicuro le loro uova. Il lavoro è duro, ma la passione è più grande.
Le vostre donazioni verrebbero utilizzate per:
- Attrezzature per la stagione di nidificazione delle tartarughe marine (zaini, guanti di gomma, quaderni, penne, lampade frontali, sacchi per la spazzatura, poncho, vernice per cartelli, machete, palettei per il trasferirmento delle tartarughine, materiali per allestire la nursery, ecc.)
- Migliorie degli alloggi dei volontari (filtri per l'acqua, biancheria da letto, tavolini, scaffali, tende, ecc.)
- Manutenzione della casa (lamiera per sostituire il tetto vecchio di 20 anni, lampadine, vernice, pittura, ecc.)
Il nostro obiettivo è:

Il s'agit de la protection active de notre environnement, de l'éducation au niveau local, de la sensibilisation au respect de la nature et de l'environnement, et plus particulièrement de la protection des tortues, un animal en grand danger d'extinction, mais très important pour notre équilibre sur terre.
Nous sommes actuellement sur place et nous pouvons ressentir le grand travail et les difficultés. Nous pouvons voir la grande quantité de plastique et de déchets qui s'élèvent de l'océan et l'impact que nous, l'humanité, avons sur notre planète. Dans 2 mois, la saison des tortues commencera. Les cofondateurs de ce projet et d'autres volontaires travailleront tous les jours, du lundi au dimanche, au moins 6 heures par jour et par nuit, pendant 7 mois, en marchant 8 km, soit 10 000 pas, selon nos termes technologiques, chaque jour sur cette plage pour protéger les tortues. Le travail est dur, mais la passion est plus grande.
Vos dons seront utilisés pour les activités suivantes :
- Matériel pour la saison de ponte des tortues marines (sacs à dos, gants en caoutchouc, cahiers, stylos, lampes frontales, sacs poubelle, ponchos, peinture pour les panneaux, machettes, perches pour relocaliser les bébés tortues, matériel pour installer la nurserie, etc.)
- Amélioration des logements des volontaires (filtres à eau, literie, tables, étagères, tentes, etc.).
- Entretien de la maison (métal pour remplacer le toit vieux de 20 ans, ampoules électriques, peinture, etc.)
Notre objectif est le suivant :
En tant que groupe, nous recherchons 200 personnes qui seraient prêtes à faire un don de 5 dollars (4,65 CHF, 4,20 €, 30 couronnes, 3,60 £). Ceci est équivalent à: 4 baguettes françaises ou 1 cappuccino suisse ou 1 petit-déjeuner anglais complet ou 4L de lait bio allemand ou 1 glace danoise.
