PROJECT PROACTIVE PREVENTION
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
Brandy-Williams Limited is collaborating with a fantastic group of Social Work, Youth Work and Youth Justice professionals in facilitating a project in the Caribbean Island of St Kitts. We will be hosted and supported by the St Kitts and Nevis Ministry of Social Development and Gender Affairs and advance planning is already underway. This project has been dubbed PROJECT PROACTIVE PREVENTION, and the delivery dates are April 20th – May 8th, 2026.
As such, we are seeking your financial support to help defray some of the costs associated with airfare, creating resources and overall programme delivery. Your donations will be greatly appreciated and welcomed and will see us deliver a comprehensive 21-day programme of training sessions, workshops, and round table discussions with various government officials and representatives from agencies including social work, gender affairs, police, probation, health, education and grassroot community youth schemes. At the end of the project, we will partner with mentioned sectors and devise written framework which will contain processes, procedures, polices and strategies for implementation.
PROJECT PROACTIVE PREVENTION:
1. Is aimed at children and young people ages 0 – 25 (up to 35 if in prison or youth detention) who are at risk of abuse, neglect, CCE, CSE, educational setbacks and inter-generational trauma.
2. Involves multi-agency partnership between education, health, police, probation, community organisations, faith-based organisations, and social services.
3. Will focus on reducing or preventing youth offending, breakdown in family and social relationships, address educational disadvantages, and mitigating anti-social behaviours.
4. Include reviewing current processes, procedures, and operational deployment and proposing recommendations and / or amendments.
5. Seek to create a local and centralised recording system and a Young People’s Safeguarding Task Force and Risk Register.
