Hi my name is Dylan.

As many of you know for 5 years I have been blessed with the opportunity to be apart of a team that goes down to Tijuana Mexico over spring break to build homes for less fortunate families. I once again will be taking part in this amazing trip and would love for you to be a part of my journey in making a difference. I love this trip because it is so much than just a house that is left down there. There is a new future for that family, one where their kids can go to school instead of watching their families belongings, and one where a family of 7 doesn’t have to all sleep in the same room. Friendships and memories that will never be forgotten and a life time of learning and growing with the Tijuana community.

I would like to tell a story of a couple we were fortunate to build a house for one year and visit the following year. Beiisii and Santana a young couple that had been married for only a couple years. They had been trying to have a baby but unfortunately Beiisii had two miscarriages. So when I had gone to see them one year later after we had built them a home she was eight months pregnant. She said to me that she believes that the only reason why she was able to carry a baby to term was because of the fact that we as a group went down there and built them a proper home to raise a child in. I told myself from this point forward that there would be no reason in the world that I wouldn’t go down to build a house for someone in need of a home.
