Hello everyone,

My name is Chelsie, and I’m the founder of The Gauthier Children’s Foundation — an organization born from love, legacy, and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of children.

Today, I want to share with you the story behind our very first project — Project Jeremie.

Jeremie, Haiti is more than just a city to me. It’s the place where my father was born and raised. It’s where he learned the true meaning of community — of sharing, helping, and giving, even when you have little to give.

My father absolutely loved children. Anyone who knew him could tell you that. He had a heart that was gentle, kind, and selfless. He believed that every child deserves a chance — a chance to dream, to learn, and to become something great. He carried that belief with him his entire life, helping others whenever he could, in whatever way he could.

Sadly, my father has passed away. And this year, on November 13, 2025, he would have turned 60 years old. Losing him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced, but even in his absence, his love continues to inspire me.

That’s why I created The Gauthier Children’s Foundation — in his honor — and why our first initiative, Project Jeremie, is dedicated to the children of the city that shaped him.

Project Jeremie is about giving back to those children, especially after the catastrophic Hurricane Melissa that not only caused above-average flooding killing many but also damaging and destroying over 200 homes. It's about providing new school supplies, clothing, and the basic essentials they need to pursue their education, recreate stability and feel supported. So many of these children have dreams, but they’re limited by what they don’t have. My father would have wanted to change that.

In honor of what would have been his 60th birthday, I’ve set a goal to raise $60,000 for Project Jeremie — one thousand dollars for every year of his beautiful life.

This isn’t just a fundraiser. It’s a celebration of a man who lived to serve others. It’s a promise to continue what he started. And it’s a message of hope to the children of Jeremie — that they are seen, valued, and loved.

I’m asking for your help to make this dream a reality. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer — every single act of kindness counts. Together, we can turn love into action and honor my father’s memory in the most meaningful way possible.

Let’s give these children the tools to build their future, and in doing so, keep his legacy alive.
