Para todos los que conocemos las hermosas montañas y frescura de nuestra querida La Laguna, no somos extraños a la paz que transmite su ambiente. PROAMAR es una asociación sin fines de lucro, fundada y formada por miembros de la comunidad del pueblo, que con mucho cariño y esfuerzo iniciaron un proyecto que nació a raíz de una visión. El deseo por crear un lugar lleno de armonía donde nuestros adultos mayores pudieran compartir su tiempo libre y disfrutar de actividades diarias, llevó a la creación de PROAMAR y el proyecto que dio a luz a la Casa del Adulto Mayor en La Laguna, Chalatenango.
Con la ayuda de los esfuerzos y aportes que se realizaron al unirnos en comunidad, se inició la construcción del centro en Agosto del 2019. El cual se completó y con mucha alegría celebraremos en su inauguración el día 14 de Mayo del año presente.
Ahora en su segunda fase, necesitamos el apoyo de nuestra comunidad para sacar adelante el funcionamiento del centro, el cual inciará con su apertura el día 23 de Mayo. Cualquier contribución, sin importar la cantidad, ayudará a dar movimiento a esta obra beneficial para nuestro pueblo.
- $50 cubre los suministros y materiales para las actividades semanales
- $100 cubre los alimentos para 20 personas semanalmente
- $400 cubre el salario mensual del personal del centro

For all of us familiar with the beautiful mountains and fresh air of our beloved La Laguna, we are no strangers to the peace that its environment transmits. PROAMAR is a non-profit association founded and formed by members of the town, who, with much love and effort, started a project that was born because of a vision. The desire to create a place full of harmony where seniors could spend their free time and enjoy daily activities led to the creation of PROAMAR and the project that gave birth to the Casa del Adulto Mayor (House of the Elderly) in La Laguna, Chalatenango.
With the help of the efforts and contributions made by uniting in community, the center's construction began in August 2019. The center was completed, and with great joy, we will celebrate its inauguration on May 14, 2022.
Now in its second phase, we will need the support of our community to move the center forward, which will open its doors on May 23, 2022. No matter the amount, any contribution will help give movement to this beneficial work for our people.
