The Prison Mathematics Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching and providing inmates the resources to learn mathematics. This organization was  founded by Christopher Havens, an inmate who has been teaching himself mathematics for over a decade all while behind bars. With only minimal high school math experience coming into prison, Christopher has now greatly contributed to the mathematical community, publishing a research math paper in early 2020. Christopher is also recieving help from a 15 year old boy, Walker Blackwell, with a passion for math. This unlikely partnership is aiming to reduce recidivism across america. The Prison Mathematics Project is currently trying to provide Wolfram Math subscriptions to its volunteers. These subscriptions will help better facilitate our participant's learning and expand our program's reach. The Prison Mathematics Project would love your support. Thank you!
