This GoFundMe is a rolling fund that started 3 years ago to sustain my farming efforts here on Whidbey! The funds are generally used to keep the lights on and to keep gas in the tank. For this funding round, I'm specifically raising funds for body maintenance!! I've suffered an injury about 10 months ago that is taking a long time to heal. I'm fundraising so I can consistently see my acupuncturist and massage therapist through the entire season.

Grass Becomes a Wave is a farm and studio on Whidbey Island. I grow flowers, vegetables, medicine and dye crops for my communities in Oak Harbor and Coupeville (and beyond!) I love collaborating with local growers, farmers and chefs and am always in awe of the bounty that we are able to produce season after season. I hope to scale my offerings this year so that I can provide more produce for our local farmer's market. I'll be creating sheep tallow products with my friends at Shoot the Moon Vineyard & Farm; providing produce for Whidbey Provisions where I also prepare and cook the meals.
