Printing Relief for Lynchburg's Essential Workers

Thank you for considering to help with my PPE relief effort. I am an avid 3D printer and have been dedicating my machines to providing much needed PPE to hospital and clinic workers. Our nation has a huge shortage of PPE and prices for them have sky rocketed as demand increases. Because of this I have dedicated all of my 3D printers to print face shields and surgical mask ear relief straps for any and all medical workers in Lynchburg who want them for free.

I am making over 70+ face shields or 300+ mask ear relief clips a day at my current capacity. 

The Surgical Mask Relief straps allows the mask to attach to the clip behind the head and not have to be put over the ears, which will cause irritation after long periods of having them on. This has been a highly requested item since masks are continuously being worn. 

I have personally funded, printed, and assembled over 300 face shields/ Surgical Mask Relief straps to the CAN, Free Clinic, and CVFP.  I am continuing to contact other medical providers in the area to see how many they could use and help get our workers covered.

The more the word has gotten out about what I've been doing so has the requests to help in this endeavor. My goal of this gofundme would be able to provide 5,000+ PPE/relief equipment for anyone on the front lines helping in the medical field in our area. If we have extra or exceed the set goal I'd continue to provide them to other essential personnel who could use them.

I cannot fund this goal alone and have created this to give others the chance to help with the costs of supplies and increase production rate. I hope to continue to get as many of these out as quickly as I can until we no longer have a need for it. Each donation helps better equip someone sooner who is risking the most for our City's well being.
