Princeton Playground

Princeton Parks & Recreation, in connection with the Princeton Playground Committee, has a goal to raise funds to install a playground in our rural community. Currently, our community doesn’t have a recreation space for young kids to play. We are a team of parents who came together in December of 2022 to achieve this goal! It is our organization's mission to provide exceptional parks, programs, events, and community spaces that engage and enhance the lives of all Princeton and surrounding residents, all while creating opportunities by building community connections.

The project is needed because we want to promote and enhance quality of life for our residents. By renovating our recreation spaces we can improve mental health and increase physical health which will reduce depression and anxiety. This will also develop a strong sense of community and strengthen social bonding. Our recreation area serves people of all ages so everyone in our community will benefit from our efforts.

Our goal is to raise money for a playground at our Brewer-Andrews Field, on West Street. We’ve lined up our contractor for groundwork and a playground company to get the playground in by the expected date - now we need to raise the funds to do so by February of 2024! We’re asking for your help, if possible, by making a donation to our GoFundMe campaign.
