Princess of Kaua'i

Donation protected
Aloha Kākou,

My name is Zoie Moore, and I will be representing the Island of Kaua'i in the 60th annual Merrie Monarch Parade on April 15th, 2023.

While I am very honored to be representing an island princess, the financial burden of my unit falls entirely on me. I am asking for donations to help support my unit and ensure its success, so we can give back to the community and help perpetuate the Pā'ū culture.

Being a Pā'ū Princess has been a dream of mine since I was three years old. Watching the Pā'ū Princesses at that age forged my love for horses, and at the age of four, I began taking horseback riding lessons. By five, I was competing in Keiki rodeo and continued competing throughout my senior year of high school. In 2007 I was able to ride Pā'ū in the Merrie Monarch to celebrate 100 years of Pā'ū and rode representing the decade of 1920. I moved back to the island in 2017 and was asked to ride as an attendant for the princess of O'ahu in the 2018 parade. She won first place as princess and our unit won first place and best unit overall. In 2019 I rode as princess of Kaho'olawe, and I won second place as princess and our unit one 1st place as well as best overall unit. I am very excited to ride as the princess of Kaua'i for the 60th annual Merrie Monarch parade. I appreciate anything you can give.

Mahalo nui loa,
Zoie Moore
