---------------
This campaign began in 2021 in response to the HCDSB's refusal to fly the pride flag at schools. Thanks to the committed efforts of so many individuals, including school board trustees, parents, teachers and staff and - most importantly, the students themselves - the board has since agreed to fly the Pride flag, an acknowledgement of the validity and acceptance of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals studying and working in their schools, and those living in the communities surrounding them.
While last year's campaign had a positive impact on many, both those who form part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies, it also proved that there is still a very long way yet to go towards genuine equality and true acceptance of those in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Getting more signs into the community, thus indicating more safe spaces, more acceptance and showing more love, is but one more step in the right direction.

In 2021, over 800 of these signs were proudly displayed by individuals and households across Halton, into Niagara, Mississauga and Toronto. Our goal for 2022 is optimistically ambitious - it's our hope that we can get 2000 more signs into the community! Once again, our proceeds beyond costs are going to The ROCK in support of its 2SLGBTQ+ family support and programming area, the Positive Space Network . Our donation after costs last year was $4,400! Our fundraising goal for 2022 is $10,000, after production costs, going to the ROCK.
As in 2021, we are requesting a minimum donation of $10 per sign. The greater the donation, the greater the contribution that will be made to The ROCK. Once you've made your donation, please click here to order your sign(s)!
Thank you for your support! Happy Pride!!
